Today we had the great opportunity of meeting some of the wonderful students from the Kipp:Starr Charter School who are participating in the project! Administrators from CCCADI, and Jacqueline Bishop introduced themselves to the students and the students in return introduced themselves. Their principal and after school coordinator were there for this kickoff. Later we held interviewing and oral history workshops. These students are brilliant and eager and we look forward to seeing their progress over the year as they work on the project!

We especially want to thank the principal of the school and the after-school coordinator for the enthusiasm they have always and continually shown towards this project!

We of course will be having individual profiles of all the participants in the project but in the meantime we give them a warm “official” welcome to the project!
