My name is Sokhna Ndiaye and I am the American social media coordinator of the Dialogues in The African Diaspora project! I was born in the United Stated but my family is originally from Senegal, West Africa, and when I am not doing social media work for this project, I work as a group leader at KIPP:STAR College Prep’s afterschool program. I currently attend The City College of New York where I’m majoring in International Studies with a concentration in Culture and Communication. I get really excited when I’m able to witness students learn on an international level.  As such, I’m excited to meet the wonderful kids at Nonsuch and I can’t wait for them to meet our KIPP:STAR kids and for both groups of students to get a chance to live in each others worlds.
